Dean Burnette was called as Minister of the Burnettsville Christian Church on November 20, 2005.

Dean was born in Ashville, North Carolina on June 26, 1967. His family moved to Michigantown, Indiana a few months later. Dean graduated from Clinton Central High School in May of 1985. That fall, he enrolled as a student of Ozark Christian College. In May of 1990, Dean graduated from Ozark Christian College with a Bachelor of Theology.

Dean was baptized on September 29, 1974. He was ordained as a Christian Minister on March 29, 1989. He has served as Minister of the Lakeview Christian Church in Andrews, Texas and of the Church of Christ in Arapahoe, Nebraska. He also served as the Associate Minister of the Woodside Christian Church in Frankfort, Indiana. He has also been an active member of the Chapel Hill Christian Church in Kokomo, Indiana.

Dean has been involved in teaching Sunday school classes, leading youth groups, singing in choir and small groups, as well as solo work, been involved in writing and performing skits. He has served in many Vacation Bible Schools and Church Camps. He was also involved in the handbell choir for four years while attending Ozark Christian College.

Dean enjoys writing stories and novels. He is currently seeking an agent to assist him in publishing the four novels he has written.
